South Seas Island Resort – Fun at the Beach
I received a discount on rooms for my honest review… All opinions are 100% mine.
This year I turn the Big 5-0…. not quite yet but in a few months and so do a couple of my childhood friends. A few months ago we started to correspond to figure out how we were going to celebrated it and decided on heading to Florida and Captiva Island. One of the places we want to stay at was South Seas Island Resort. What started out as a plan became a possibly and then it became a reality….
South Seas Island Resort is a perfect place for a girl’s weekend away. It has 2.5 miles of white sand beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. The beach was not too busy when we were there.. so able to suntan, swim and visit. The water was pristine and the beaches clean with very little garbage on them. The beaches are also perfect to sit and watch the sun set or rise depending if you are a night owl or early bird, or maybe a little bit of both.
What more can a girl ask for when celebrating a birthday then to spend a wonderful few days at the beach…Both the South Beach and Sunset Beach were great beaches to hangout, swim, shell and visit. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to relax on the beach, enjoy some shopping and have fun with your friends.
