Homemade Italian Salad Dressing

Homemade-Italian-Salad-Dressing

I love to make my own homemade salad dressings, and then share them with you.  This homemade Italian Salad Dressing is super easy.  Just throw all the ingredients into a jar and shake it up.  I see a lot of recipes for homemade Italian Salad Dressing mix out there, but making this from start to finish only takes about five minutes, so a mix wouldn’t speed you up much.  I used all dried or powdered herbs and spices, so that it will keep longer in the refrigerator.  It makes about a little more than a cup, so that is about eight servings.

For this recipe, I used a pretty strong flavored extra virgin olive oil, which I really like.  But, if you prefer a milder flavor, you could choose a lighter olive oil or even a different oil altogether.
