Wine on Wednesday: Wine Cocktails #winewednesday

There are lots of great wines out there to try and in our Wine on Wednesday series we’ve discussed a lot of them.  But wine can also be a great base for cocktails too!  Our fellow bloggers have delightful, refreshing cocktails using wine, so this week’s Wine on Wednesday is a collection of some of the best wine cocktails!

Raspberry White Wine Spritzer

Cinco De Mayo Sangria:  This cocktail from Busy Vegetarian Mom  features Moscato wine and lemon lime to make a wine cocktail perfect for celebrating Cinco de Mayo.

Strawberry Sangria:   A Sangria recipe from In Good Taste with fresh strawberries and your favorite Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc.  This is one of my favorite spring and summertime cocktails

Raspberry White Wine SpritzerBrought to you by yours truly at Chef PickyKid and Me, this white wine cocktail features fresh raspberries and a little fizziness to make it a spritzer.  I love making this cocktail for dinner parties and get togethers with friends.

Sweet Red Wine Party SangriaSangria is traditionally a red wine cocktail, and this sangria from Hot Eats and Cool Reads is a great version of the classic red wine sangria!

Spring SangriaThis Sangria recipe from Eat. Drink. Love  is another great warm weather cocktail and features your favorite white wine along with lots of yummy citrus fruit.

Summer Sangria: Another great Sangria recipe from Eat. Drink. Love features lots of wonderful summer fruits.  This would be a great cocktail for your 4th of July party!

White Strawberry Lemon SangriaThis is another one of my favorite wine cocktail recipes from Kitchen Treaty .  I really like this sangria because it’s a perfect balance of sweet and tart.

Happy Wine on Wednesday!
