I think it’s fun to dress up but my hubby not so much so when it comes time to head out to Halloween costume parties, it can be a challenge to find agreeable couples costumes. I don’t like to spend a lot of money on costumes either so I first head to the thrift shop to see what I can find. Last year, as soon as I ran across a “Flash” t-shirt, I knew we had to be Amy Farrah Fowler & Sheldon. My hubby could wear slacks and a t-shirt and be comfortable. So simple!
We headed out to scour the racks of all the thrift shops in town with several pictures of Amy in hand. We ran across this sweater and knew this was the outfit to recreate. Finding a long khaki skirt and glasses was easy. I added a black wig because my natural color is light brown and was fairly short.
What do you think? Do I look like Amy?
