Tracy IsemingerIt’s time for “Thirsty Thursday” and I’ve got a sweet sip to share! The nice folks at Deep Eddy Vodka sent me a bottle of their Lemon Vodka to try and it was a treat for sure. The Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka just calls your name before opening the bottle with the appealing color and label. I couldn’t wait to open it up for a taste.
Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka
We first tried it “as is” and you could easily drink this over ice, but we chose to try it with a bit of club soda which is fantastic to give it a bit of fizz. From there we experimented with 7-up, some huckleberry lemonade, cranberry juice and more. No matter what way we mixed it, the results were the same. YUM!
Overall the citrus really shines through with a slightly sweet taste. I love it was not too bitter to just drink over ice. I think my next bottle I’ll have to give it a try with some iced tea for the upcoming hot hot hot Summer months.
