When I was little girl our family was invited to a friend’s house for dinner.
The table was set so beautifully…all the best china was out.
Her meal was cooked to perfection and everything was delicious, except she was serving
Brussels Sprouts.
I remember so clearly NOT wanting to eat these and my father insisting I at least try one.
I did not eat Brussels Sprouts again until 5 years ago.
Yes, that was about 30 plus years of missing out on a delicious vegetable.
ROASTED Brussels Sprouts is a GREAT way to enjoy this delicious vegetable.
First, trim the bottoms and remove any loose outer leaves…
Toss them with some olive oil, salt and pepper…
Place on a baking sheet and roast in a 450 degree oven until they are golden brown and tender…
Delicious and EASY…
the perfect side dish for any meal.
Enjoy Your Day!
Wow, we are really similar here. I hated brussels sprouts until just a few years ago when I made them for my husband. And, my favorite way to cook them is this way!
