When my oldest daughter turned 6 years old, we decided to get her a puppy. We rescued her from a dog shelter and brought her home. It didn’t take long for our little Brittney to become a true member of our family. She follows us around keeping her eye on everyone and makes sure she keeps everything in check. She definitely is our family protector but as time moves on, she’s starting to slow down a bit and showing her “senior” status!
