Pumpkin Crafts using Recyclable Material

Pumpkin Crafts

I am a hoarder and I save just about everything.  I think you never know when you may be able to makes something from the things you save. One container that I always save is the Maxwell House International Cafe Flavored Coffee tins.  I have found a reason to keep these ~ pumpkin crafts.  These tins are perfect to make pumpkins.

Materials:

Maxwell House International Cafe Flavor Coffee tin

Construction or Scrapbooking Paper

Washi tape

Stickers

Cinnamon Sticks

Ribbon or yarn/jute

Glue and/or Tape

Directions:

Wash and dry tins.

Cut construction paper the width and length of the tin.  Tape or glue the paper to the tin.

Cut construction paper slightly smaller then size of the lid.  Glue or tape to the top of the lid.

Apply washi tape to the edges of the lid and fold over the top of the lid also ~ it may look slightly wrinkled but I think this adds character to the pumpkin.

Cut cinnamon stick into 1 inch pieces.  Glue to the top of the lid.  Let dry.

Tie ribbon or string  to the bottom of the cinnamon stick.

Apply stickers to the bottom of the container.
