When Winemaker, Janet Myers and the team created this wine, they let “Equilibrium” (to come together in a state of harmonious balance) be their guide and ultimate goal. The product is a crisp and refreshing blend of 72% Sauvignon Blanc, 17% Chardonnay, and 11% Muscat, lending a soft floral, pear and white peach flavors. Fermented in 83% Stainless and 17% Barreled, it has a clean flavor followed by a warm lingering finish.
When you open the bottle you are greeted with fresh fruit aromas of guava, citrus and lime, followed by a sweet floral arrangement of honeysuckle and jasmine.
I spent the first several tastes savoring the flavors. Trying to pull out each individual partner. It was a bit different each time as I discovered the layers underneath. Each sip left me thirsty for more.
This is a great sipping wine or paired up with a wide variety of foods from spicy BBQ to foods with an asian flare.
