My Mom's Famous Chex Mix Recipe

You might not have heard about my mom or her Chex Mix, but in these parts, we love getting this from her every Christmas! Hence, the reason I am calling this recipe, “My Mom’s Famous Chex Mix Recipe.” My mom has been making this recipe for as long as I can remember. It is so easy to make, taste great, and makes for a nice homemade gift! I know your friends and family will love getting this great snack as a gift too!

 My Mom's Famous Chex Mix Recipe

 

 

My Mom’s Famous Chex Mix

Here is what you will need:

7 cups Chex Cereal (Rice, Corn, and Wheat)

2 cups mixed Nuts

2 cups Pretzels (I used stick ones.)

1 cup Roasted Rye Chips

6 tablespoons Butter

2 teaspoons Garlic Salt

2 teaspoons Onion Salt

8 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce (or 2 T plus 2 tsp.)

 

Mix cereal, nuts, pretzels, and rye chips together and place in a jelly roll style pan. Melt the butter, garlic, salt, and worcestershire sauce and pour over cereal mixture. Stir until well coated. Bake at 250 degrees for about 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread onto paper towels, or parchment paper, to cool. Store in an air tight container.
