Lavender Lemonade

Summer may be coming to an end but that doesn’t mean that we have put all the summer drinks away until next year.   There still may be warm weather to pull out the picnic basket and make some Lavender Lemonade to put it in.

A couple of weeks ago I had a Lavender Lemonade at a local restaurant and I loved it.  I decided that I had to make it at home as it was very expensive to buy and there was very little of the lemonade in the glass with all the ice.  To make this I made a simple syrup that I added lavender too and fresh lemons.  It tasted wonderful.  Perfect for a picnic or just  to drink at home.
