If there is one thing we love to do together as a family, it is travel. I have been lucky enough to have partnered with Kia for multiple test drives this year and we loved all the fun we had driving the cars. Some while traveling, others in our hometown.
We kicked it all off with the Kia Sportage over Christmas Break. Then the Kia Optima and Kia Rio for local fun. Followed by the Kia Soul in Pebble Beach, then the Kia Sorento in So. Cal for Disney’s D23 Expo!
I LOVED them all and my only problem is picking which I loved the MOST!
Two of my test drives were in the LA area where there is just so much to do. Luckily, we had the comfy Kias to make our travels so much easier.

We took the Kia Sportage to Downtown Disney, Mount Baldi, The Queen Mary and The Reagan Museum. The Kia Sorento, we took to Disney’s D23 Expo and Claremont ( a happenin’ little college town).

Both are small to mid-size crossover SUV’s. Both have all the great things I LOVE about Kias as well. High end feel at a low price!

The navigation system is AWESOME and so easy to use. It got us right to our destination every time.
Beyond that, the heated or cooled leather seats, oversized moon roofs, satellite radio, and stylish looking ride are also big bonuses!
We packed our car full of the family (2 adults, 2 kids) and all our luggage, plus our shopping finds and still had plenty of room in both of these rigs.
After driving them both, IF I had to pick, (and I do want to buy one) which one would it be? Between the Kia Sportage or Kia Sorento? So hard to pick! I really loved both, but I think I’d lean toward the Sorento. I just seemed to fit me perfectly. I can’t really explain it.. from the moment I got in, it felt like me.
THAT being said, I also had a blast driving all the others ( Kia Rio, Optima and Soul). Of those, my CLOSE second in my favorite Kias is the Optima. It is such a sleek and stylish car with all the luxuries of the more expensive brands. If I could buy both the Sorento and Optima I would!

BUT…. I got to drive the Kia Soul in Pebble Beach for the Food Network Food and Wine Event. That is one cool little car/crossover. It was just me on that trip so I had more than enough room inside the car, but what was really nice (outside the usual Kia luxuries) was how convienient the compact size was in the parking garage! I think if I were to buy a car for my kids… it would be the Soul!

You can see why the choice is so hard! I just have the Kia Sedona Minivan to test drive then I will have to settle on one favorite. Until then, I’m going to keep on having some summer fun with my family!
