Italian 65% Drinking Chocolate

- 2 Cups Whole Milk
- 2 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
- 9 oz. Shaved Chocolate
- Whipped Cream for Top Plus Extra Shaved Chocolate to Garnish
- Measure 2 cups whole milk and 2 cups heavy whipping cream into a large pan
- Heat at medium up to about 150 degrees.
- Place contents of entire 9 ounce can of shaved chocolate into the warmed milk-cream mixture.
- Stir until chocolate particles appear dissolved.
- If you have an immersion blender, this will minimize your time at the stove.
- Don’t walk away and leave the chocolate mixture until entirely done as the chocolate will accumulate on the bottom of the pan and burn.
