Italian Drinking Chocolate Recipe

You have not had “Hot Chocolate” until you have had this Italian Drinking Chocolate Recipe.   Alexanders Chocolates in Dayton, WA makes the most exceptions drinking chocolate and  I was so excited when I saw they shared the recipe on facebook.  We seriously will drive 2 hours just for a small glass of this stuff…  It is that good!  You might be thinking that it sounds like hot chocolate?  Well, you have to taste it to see the difference.  Drinking Chocolate is a thick, rich, dense yet smooth chocolate.  So rich that a small 2 ounce shot is all you need.  We have made this with 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate (chopped into small pieces) and it is fantastic.  The kids however, though it was too rich, so we have also made it with Milk Chocolate Hersheys Bars and the kids devoured it!
