Have you all met Marlene? She is a dear friend of ours at Daily Dish Magazine who joined us for some time at Foodie Friends Friday Parties. She is such a strong and sweet lady, I’m proud to call her my “virtual” friend! Her recipes are always something I want to try and her photography makes all the food mouthwatering. Best part of her cooking is that you can eat it and not feel bad about it since she tries to make everything a bit healthier for us all and often gives you WW points along with the recipe. You simply must check out her blog, but first stick around and get to know her a little bit better.
What is your Blog?
I blog over at Nosh My Way
2. How long have you been blogging?
It all started back in 2010

I was inspired to share my kitchen creations that I make for me or my family and share them as a resource for everyone. I invite you to try the recipes and let me know what you think.
4. What are your favorite topics to blog about?
I like to try and find a way to weave in a story that goes with what I cooked. It doesn’t always work, but I try
5. What is your favorite blog post?
My favorite post is My healthier version of ramen noodles. It’s my favorite because it brought back memories or when my girls were on the swim team
6. What is your favorite recipe/thing to eat?
My favorites tend to be what I know my family enjoys the most, such as my Stuffed Pepper Soup and my Ground Beef Stir Fry Over Rice, just to name a few.
7. Do you have a “signature” dish?
I have been asked this question many times over the years. I don’t seem to stick to one specific recipe, but I have made Asian-Inspired dishes so much that they tend to be my signature style. And it seem those photograph well too.
8. Tell us about YOU. What are your hobbies, your family, etc…
I am a first generation native San Franciscan. My parents emigrated from the beautiful Mediterranean island of Malta. I grew up in San Francisco, California with an older sister and a younger brother. I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area all my life.
Our kitchen table is where we share stories, laugh, and pass bread and wine around the table. We always talk over one another, just to be heard. I guess you can say we are a loud bunch.
My mother always cooked healthy foods that were traditional Maltese cooking. Olive oil, and bread is a typical Mediterranean menu item, which later became all the rage in restaurants.
I enjoy my family, an occasional glass of champagne, and being spoiled by my hubby. I am passionate about food, and creating healthy and tasty meals. I would love to have the money to spend on traveling to places all over the world.
9. It might surprise you to know that…
I dabbled in jewelry making on and off over the years. I am CPR and AED certified, and luckily have never needed to utilize those expertise. I have been told that I take things too literally, which can be both good and bad. I am sensitive and can be shy.
Loved this! Thanks for sharing with us Marlene.
On top of every thing mentioned above, Marlene is a whiz at scrabble. She beat the socks off of me on every game with a big lead and I won only one. Amen.
