2015 Hyundai Sonata Rolls Out of the Factory This Summer!

Driving off the Hyundai production line and cruising through the Alabama country side in the new 2015 Hyundai Sonata was an experience of a lifetime.  Feeling how the car handled the curves, the sense of safety  as the contoured seats hugged you and knowing that Hyundai is a company who puts employees first I was truly honored.  The New Sonata is not just an ordinary Mom mobile it is a classy, sophisticated car that your husband will be begging to borrow.

Hyundai a company who has been around since 1985 providing families with cars and winning awards.  A couple of the awards include Lowest 5 Year Cost to Own in its class by Kelley Blue Book’s by KBB.com in 2014 for the Veloster Turbo and Consumer Reports Top Pick also in 2014 for the Santa Fe.  They’re also providing jobs to thousands of employees throughout the United States.

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama located in Montgomery was founded in 2002 and started production in May of 2005. They work every day to make employees jobs ergonomically safe and provide them with many healthy opportunities in the workplace like a walking track and fitness room at the factory.  Producing 398,000 units in 2013 with innovations like robots the employees jobs are made easier while maintaining a high standard.  If you’re ever in the area they do tours daily for the public just no cameras are allowed.

Driving through the city streets or on the country roads you knew Hyundai had taken care of all the little details we look for in a family car!  They’ve taken safety to a whole new level with a seventh airbag to protect drivers knees and stabilize the body during certain frontal collisions and sunshades built into the rear windows for the kids.  For all of us who usually have our hands full the hands-free smart trunk is like a personal assistant.  Power front seats and drivers 4 way lumbar and are vented to provide a heated or cooled option depending on your preference provides you with the comfort you deserve.

With upgrades like the multi-link rear suspension changing from a single lower arm to a dual lower arm along with revised bearing stiffness in the front suspension you get improved steering response, handling capability and stability.  That means you can cruise those windy roads with ease and precision, the car handles so nicely you’ll think you’re a pro.  A few of the fun new features include:

  • Forward collision warning so you won’t be caught off guard and have time to react
  • Smart cruise control that will detect if the car in front of your slows or stops and adjusts accordingly including braking and resuming once the car continues
  • Lane departure warning, Blind spot detection, Parking sensors ensuring family safety
  • Apple Car Play & Android Auto keeping you connected with a hands free driving experience

Hyundai New Sonata Interior

The interior with my favorite feature being the moon roof, navigation and cooling seat also includes:

  • Class-leading passenger volume and total interior volume
  • Best-in-Class front headroom and legroom
  • Only model among competitors to be classified as a Large Car by the EPA

The experience doesn’t end there Hyundai went above and beyond with the New Sonata and provided user selected drive modes:

  • Efficient – ECO
  • Well balanced – Normal
  • Dynamic – Sport

Each mode provides  a little different handling and acceleration but they all provide a remarkable smooth drive that allows you to enjoy the drive and not worry about the road noise.  The Hyundai Sonata makes driving simple again.

Starting at MSRP $21,150 you’ll want to get behind the steering wheel and take the New Sonata for a spin!
