How to Host a Cookie Exchange Party

Have you ever been to a cookie exchange?
I’ve attended one for the past few years and even hosted one at our house.
Each year we have such a fun time that I thought I would put together a blog post detailing everything and give you some ideas and tips on how to have your very own cookie exchange.
All you need to do is invite a group of friends and have each bring one kind of their favorite holiday cookie to share.

At the party, everyone trades and ends up with a whole lot of different delicious holiday cookies…plus new recipes!

Here are some photos from the cookie exchange I hosted here at our house two years ago.
Our cookies to share…
An ornament to remember the fun we had…
These are the cookies I made that year.
Besides cookies, I made Mini Pizzas and a few other goodies for the ladies to enjoy.
I used cookie cutters to make different shapes with the pizza dough to go with our cookie theme…
Here are some photos from last year’s Cookie Exchange
 at my friend Jani’s house…
Everyone brought a plate of their cookies to share…
Jani set up a fun Hot Cocoa Bar…
We all brought a brunch dish to share…
All of our cookies to take home with us…
Here are some great ideas I found from other bloggers
on how to host your very own Cookie Exchange Party.
There’s printables to use and other fun things that will
make YOUR party one your friends will remember!
A great post on Cookie Exchange Essentials with a FREE printable from a post Daily Dish Magazine did last year…
Cookie Exchange Rules from Funky Polkadot Giraffe…
How to Nest for Less has a cute idea on voting for
awards for the cookies…
