Believe me, you will want to make plenty of these, especially this winter when your skin gets so dry. Don’t just leave it up to chapstick, use this peppermint lip scrub to exfoliate first, then use a homemade lip balm to rehydrate.

I like to keep some in the shower too. It’s so simple to use the scrub after washing my face and my lips always feel so soft afterward!

Can I use peppermint extract like for baking?

    1. Yes, you could use peppermint extract instead but you will want to add it slowly and test the strength of the scent and flavor.

      2. Can you use olive oil instead of coconut?

      3. Coconut oil is best suited for this as it will set to a solid at room temperature where olive oil stays liquid. If you use olive oil, I’d suggest using a very small amount so it does not get too runny.
