Gifts In a Jar: Garlic Seasoning Mix

Garlic Seasoning Mix

Garlic Seasoning Mix

I originally shared this mix recipe on my Bread Sticks made with Artisan Bread  post. It kind of got lost in the shuffle of recipes, so I decided I would give it its own post. This mix is great to make up for yourself and have on hand to use whenever you need it, but it also makes for a great addition to a Christmas gift basket. I love making up gift baskets with different themes. Do you make up gift baskets and give them for gifts?

I found this recipe at Our Best Bites and I very slightly adapted it. It taste great on french bread, bread sticks, and baked potatoes, just to name a few ideas of what you can do with it. I need to experiment with it some more and see what else it would be good on. I am thinking it would be really good on chicken too.

Garlic Seasoning Mix

Garlic Seasoning Mix:
1/2 cup 100% Natural Parmesan and Romano, grated cheese (you can find this right beside the Kraft Parmesan Cheese.)
2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
2 tablespoons Garlic Powder
2 teaspoons Oregano
2 teaspoons Basil
2 teaspoons Marjoram
2 teaspoons Parsley

Combine seasoning mix ingredients. Place in a jar, and store leftovers in the refrigerator.

Enjoy!
