Food Network Premiers: Food Court Wars

I’m not a big reality TV fan, in fact, I can honestly say that I’ve never seen an episode of American Idol,  America’s Got Talent, or any of the other reality shows currently on air.  But food related reality shows are a different story.  I love shows like Worst Cooks in America, Master Chef, Iron Chef and Hell’s Kitchen, and I count down the days until the season premier.

Another of my favorite food related reality shows is having their season premier on the Food Network in just a few short days.  Food Court Wars is returning for a second season and premiers on Sunday, February 23.  If you didn’t catch the first season of Food Court Wars, the show is hosted by one of my favorite TV chefs, Tyler Florence.  In the show, Tyler Florence travels around the United States to help contestants realize their dream of opening their own restaurant.  In each episode, two teams face off in a 72 hour contest to create a winning food court concept, market it, then out sell their opponent in a single day of business at a local mall.  The winner of the Food Court War will win their own spot in a local mall food court, rent free for one year.

Food Network Premiers: Food Court Wars

I like this show a lot because it’s a new contest each week, so you don’t have to wait until the end of the season to see who wins since there’s a new winner each week!  If you’re a fan of foodie reality TV, Food Court Wars is definitely a great show to watch.  Check out the Season Premier on The Food Network  on Sunday, February 23 at 8PM ET/PT!

The Food Network also has several other foodie reality shows you might enjoy.  Worst Cooks in America  premiered it’s 5th season on Monday, February 17 at 9PM ET/PT.  Worst Cooks in America is hosted by Anne Burrell and Bobby Flay; each host leads a team of disastrous cooks in a culinary boot camp, with the most improved team of cooks winning a $25,000 cash prize.

Food Network  recently premiered a new series called Buy this Restaurant, hosted by commercial real estate expert Keith Simpson.  In this series, Keith Simpson helps up and coming restaurateurs find the perfect location for their new restaurant.  In each episode, Keith shows three properties that can work with their restaurant concepts and helps them to visualize how the space can work for their business.  Buy this Restaurant airs Wednesdays at 9PM ET/PT.

There’s definitely something for every foodie reality TV fan on The Food Network this season, so don’t miss a single episode!
