I recently had a chance to try Sneaky Pete’s Oat Beverage. I was a bit skeptical at first but I figured many of you might feel the same way so I agreed to try it out in exchange for sharing my honest opinion with you all.
I had heard of “Oat Smoothies” and we try to eat oatmeal everyday for a good dose of fiber and to fill us up for the day. I was curious just how this was going to taste and if it would be enough on it’s own to keep me full if I grab it and go in the mornings.

I tried the Apple, Mango and Peach flavors. There are also Raspberry and Grape available. I shook it up and was pleasantly surpristed by what I found. The flavor is sweet and very fruit forward. The oat? Well, you can actually taste the oat, but it is not a super oatty flavor (yes, I know that oatty is probably not a real word, lol!). The oat actually comes across to me as just very slightly nutty. It seems like it just belongs and tastes very good. I’ve tried other healthy drinks that I had to force myself to choke down. Sneaky Pete’s is NOT one of them!
Now the best part of this drink is that it provides you with 3 grams dietary fiber and 2 grams soluable fiber in each bottle, which is equal to eating a bowl of oatmeal. They also use natural sweeteners along with the fruit to give us a healthy flavor!
It is both Kosher AND Vegan so almost everyone can drink this!
I did give it a go on a busy morning and while it did not satisfy my urge to sit and eat something, it did do a good job filling me up and I wasn’t dying for lunch after 4 hours passed by. I’d definitely keep this on hand for breakfast or lunch when I don’t have the time to have a proper meal. Otherwise, it makes a great snack anytime of day as well. Even my kiddos liked it!
