Daily Dish is pleased to bring to you a wonderful craft that is perfect for your fall decor.
Jill, from Chillin’ With Jill shared this on her blog
and we thought it was so adorable we asked her
to share it with our readers here at Daily Dish.
Fabric Pumpkin Tutorial…
First, cut out circles of material
in any size you would like…
Next, take a basting stitch around the circle,
about 1/8″ from the edge and about 1/2″ long and 1/2″ apart…
Once you have completed your basting stitch,
take both ends of your thread and pull to gather the edges slightly…
Fill with stuffing to your desired fullness…
Pull thread to close pumpkin, leaving a small hole big enough to place a stick for the stem.
Tie off thread…
Then have fun decorating them the way you like!
A hot glue gun
works best so be careful not to burn yourself…
So pretty on a mantel…
Doesn’t that look like a GREAT pumpkin to add to your fall decor…
