Eating for your Health

Wouldn’t it be nice if we had an easy cure for disease?  An easy way for people to be healthy.  A natural remedy that would revolutionize the medical world and get people off of medications.

The answer is YES!  If you had this miracle cure, would you use it?

I think most of us would say, “why not, It’s a natural cure for disease.”

The truth is, we are so much closer than many Americans realize.  What we eat just might be the difference between life and death.

Food could be a key component in the “Miracle Cure” we are looking for.  I know this is a broad statement, but evidence shows that with a proper diet, tailored to each persons specific needs, many of the top killers today can be reversed and/or prevented.  Even many Cancers can be treated with diet as an adjunct to other therapies.

Why do I believe this?

My husband and I went through a class a year ago called the Complete Health Improvement Program (CHIP).  It is there where our eyes were really opened for the first time.  We got an education.  An education about food and our health.  By making some changes in our diet, and I admit, it was a challenge when we started, we both had weight loss and a significant drop in our cholesterol numbers.  Many other members of the class were able to get off diabetes medications and cholesterol medications as well.  This in just 7 weeks time.

If your body can change this rapidly by eliminating certain foods, imagine what kind of change can be nurtured over many years.

Take some time and watch the many documentaries and read the literature supporting foods role in your health.  I guarantee you will make some changes.  We here at Daily Dish all have different experiences when it comes to food and health.  We hope to bring those experiences to you here and help you make healthy decisions.

  1. This is so true and I just wish I could be diligent enough to watch what I eat. My husband has had an increased aches and pain since moving here from Africa and believes it is from the foods that he eats now as foods are more processed here and he eats a higher sugar intake.

  2. I believe this to be true. I have connected with a self-healing diabetic that has cut her medication tremendously just by changing her diet. She is not medicine free yet, but she is surely on her way….Great article!
