Easy Candle Decorations for Valentines Day
I don’t usually decorate for Valentine’s Day, but I decided that I wanted a little something for our kitchen table. Of course, it had to be easy, and cheap, yet pretty. This little craft fits the bill! I found four white candles on sale at Walmart for 50 cents. My next stop was at Joanne Fabric’s. I was happy to find that they had their holiday ribbon on sale for 40% off. I already had the “glue” that I was going to use, so I headed home to get started!
To decorate the candles I cut my ribbon the size that I needed, sprayed the back of it with Loctite Spray Adhesive, and then placed it on the candle. The spray worked great on all of the ribbon I bought except one. I had one that had wire in it and it didn’t want to stick very good in the back. I solved this problem by putting a little piece of double-sided tape. If this happens to you, you could also put a stick pin on the very back to hold it in place. I originally tried mod podge and a scrap booking glue, neither of them worked. The spray adhesive worked the best.
What I like best about this project and the spray adhesive, is that you can change the candles with every season! How great is that! What out Saint Patties Day! I am ready for ya!
Enjoy!

I love love love it! I’ve not ever used the spray adhesive before, but you can be sure I’m adding it to my shopping list. I so adore simple ideas like this. Thanks for inspiring me.
