Cranberry Honey Butter

Cranberry Honey Butter

Cranberry Honey Butter

Don’t forget your hostess this year!  Be sure and whip up a batch of this delicious butter to take to your holiday party! It is super easy to make, and  it will give a little pep to your homemade or store-bought rolls. Plus, if you are like me, and keeping an eye on your budget this holiday season,  this recipe fits the bill! I had all of the ingredients on hand, so I didn’t have to buy anything to make it. The other nice thing about this recipe, is that you can make it ahead of time, so it is one less thing to have to do on Thanksgiving day.

This butter can be used on more than just your dinner rolls, you can put it on toast, cinnamon rolls, or even pancakes. In fact, I used it on our pancakes this morning, Yum! The possibilities are endless!

I originally saw this recipe in a magazine. Unfortunately, I didn’t write down what magazine, only the recipe! (Sorry!)

  1. I’m assuming you mean fresh and not dried orange peel. Could you list quantities of both dried orange peel and fresh orange peel? Thanks!

Yes, sorry, I used freshly grated orange peel. I am not sure how much you would need for dried orange peel. I always use fresh in my recipes. I think you would use about half of what the recipe calls for, if you use dried orange peel. But that is just a guess. :o)

  2. This caught my eye b/c I have dried cranberries that I’ve been snacking on, thinking of doing more with them. This sounds delish and not a lot of dishes, cooking and toil. Easy!!! I can’t wait to try it!!!

OH I’ve been looking for someone homemade I could bring to Thanksgiving that didn’t require me to cook (since we’re traveling) and this is the PERFECT thing! Now we can offer to bring rolls (that we can pick up along the way) and this yummy butter.
