Yesterday, I shared with you how shopping at Walmart for Box Top for Education™ labels can earn cash for your kids school and even extra bonus labels on select General Mills® products.  Now I want to share with you one of the fun ways we turn shopping for our Box Top™ everyday needs and turn it into an adventure.  It’s our supermarket scramble game!

We are used to getting fun pages to attach our labels sent home from school to collect and return the Box Top™ labels.  What we wanted to do is create a fun way to search for participating Box Top™ for Education products while shopping at Walmart.  To do this, I took a handful of the participating products and created a fun word scramble.  Then I printed the page and set my kids off to find Box Top™ labels and see if they could match the product name to one of our scrambled products on the list and write it down correctly.

Not only does it keep them focused while shopping and doing something helpful for their school at the same time, but it also keeps them “busy” while I get all my shopping done and we all have fun!

When we get home we have a basket full of great buys that benefits our school and fills all of our before, during and after school snacking needs.

We get busy eating and clipping labels and getting them ready to send back to school with the kids. This holiday season, we are even going to try and make a batch of “Box Top™” ornaments to hang on a tree as a gift to the school!
