We often hear how breakfast is supposed to be the most important meal of the day, but it is probably also the hardest to get in especially when children need it most – just before they are going to have to focus at school. I don’t know about where you are, but the buses start picking here at 6:30, so it is really hard to motivate children (especially the older ones) to eat before they are out the door. My experience has shown that breakfast needs to either be quick and easy, or make ahead. With that in mind, I have put together a collection of breakfast recipes that are either fast fixes or are made ahead, so you can get your kids out the door quickly but fed.
