Beauty Tips Using Essential Oil That Will Change Your Beauty Routine

1. Mix with a carrier oil!

The majority of essential oils are meant to be diluted with a carrier oil like coconut, jojoba, or olive oil. Pick up a carrier oil for all your beauty needs so you can start utilizing essential oils safely! Applying essential oil directly to your skin or hair can be a little too harsh, especially for those with sensitive skin.

2. Use tea tree oil to clear up skin!

Tea tree oil is known for its bacteria-fighting properties so if you struggle with acne or other skin issues, it’s a good idea to pick some up. Don’t forget to mix with a carrier oil! Thyme is another great option for fighting bacteria on the skin so consider making a roller ball with the combination!

3. Spruce up your hair!

Argan oil is wonderful for keeping your hair healthy. It’s full of vitamins and you’ll likely find that hair products you’re already using are using argan oil! Make your own hair mask to keep that hair shining and strong!

4. Brighten your teeth!

Using essential oils to make your own toothpaste is one of my absolute favorite beauty tips using essential oil. Add about 15 drops of peppermint essential oil to a tablespoon of sea salt and 2 cups of baking soda for your very own DIY toothpaste that is both healthy and whitening!

5. Create your own foot spa!

Add your favorite essential oil to water to create a relaxing and invigorating foot spa right in your own home! Lavender oil is great for relaxation – highly recommended if you’re going for some self-care and relaxation!
