It’s getting closer… The Food Network Presents New York Wine and Food Festival 2013!

NYCWFF '12 Grand Tasting

Let me tell you guys I am getting SOOOO excited!  I had the opportunity to go to the Pebble Beach event back in April this year and it was an absolute blast!  The New York event is even bigger and better, packed with even more events and I am crossing my fingers I get to go and experience it this year!

At the Pebble Beach event I had the chance to go to the Lindt Chocolate and Wine Seminar and Secrets of the Sommelier.  Both were incredible classes and I’d highly recommend them both to everyone.  To top off my weekend I attended the Grand Tasting where I was a little star struck.  All these world renowned chefs cooking and serving you samples themselves, and winemakers pouring and talking about the wines.  I even got to visit with Tyler Florence and his vineyard (swoon!).

I’d honestly say for those attending, the hardest part is picking what to do.  There are just SOOOO many options all happening at the same time.  Seminars, demonstrations, celeb lunches and dinners, parties, etc….  How do you choose?

Well, if you twisted my arm, I might have to say THESE are my TOP choices of what is currently left available for purchase

Thursday October 17th:  Rockin’ Cuisine Dinner and Patron XO Cafe Late Night Party

Friday October 18th:  Blue Moon Burger Bash with Rachael Ray  and  Rockin’ Dumpling and Rollin’ Sushi with Chef Morimoto AND the Grand Opening of Gotham West Market (how fun!)

Rachael Ray, Kathy Griffin

Saturday October 19th:   Four and Twenty Blackbirds Pie Making Master Class , Times Talk with Emeril Lagasse  , From Pasta to Prost,  The Olmeca Altos Tequila and Tacos event with Bobby Flay (I MUST do this one!) and The Global Night Market

Morimoto, Andrew Zimmern

Sunday October 20th:  The Art of Chocolate Making  , The Art of Pickling, Of course the Grand Tasting,  Pairing Fall Veggies with Wine OR Chesse Making 101 , Followed up with Mixology Masters

Do you think I’d be tired? That would only begin to scratch the surface.  You simply must go browse all the events for yourself.

Hurry because they are selling out quick.  All of the events that I really would LOVE to attend are already sold out  🙁  including dinners with Giada, cake decorating with Martha, Truffles with Duff, Flavors of the West with Tyler, and Guy’s Rock of Ages Party.

No matter which you attend, it is going to be INCREDIBLE!  Hope to see you all there too!
