Triple Berry Galette!

Looking for a quick and easy way to create a stunning, yet simple summer-time berry dessert?  This Triple Berry Galette is the ticket!!  Raspberries, strawberries and blueberries charmingly adorn this pie crust and can be ready in 30 minutes or so, right out of the oven and into thy mouth.   And, just think how delicious and exquisite it would be with a heapin’ scoop or two of vanilla ice cream as an extra added delight!  

Yep…I went there, because it WAS delicious and exquisite.  ‘Pure Heaven’ I say!  

Triple Berry Galette

It’s super simple to make.  All you need is a prepared pie crust, some fresh blueberries, strawberries and raspberries, a little sugar and flour and voila!  Triple Berry Galette!  I’m sayin’!  Make this for any night of the week for dessert.

Ingredients
  1. 1 (9 inch) refrigerated pie crust
  2. 1 cup raspberries
  3. 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  4. 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  5. 2 tablespoons white sugar
  6. 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  7. Optional: Raw sugar or Turbinado sugar for sprinkling on top of crust and fruit.
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  2. Unroll one pie crust on a baking sheet lined with parchment or on a baking stone.
  3. In a medium-sized bowl, toss together the raspberries, strawberries and blueberries with sugar and flour.
  4. Pour over pie crust in the middle, leaving a 1-inch border.
  5. Fold up the borders over the edge of the fruit and pinch into pleats.
  6. Transfer to oven and bake 30 -40 minutes.
  7. Optional: Sprinkle the crust and fruit filling with turbinado or raw sugar.
