Strawberry Orange Banana Smoothie
I love to have a smoothie in the morning. It makes me feel like I have started the day off to a healthy start.
It gives me energy, nutrition and drive.
During the summer especially, in the afternoons when I have had a busy day and find myself hungry
I will fix one then as well.
Quick, easy and healthy. Makes for a great breakfast or snack, anytime of the day.
Smoothies are easy enough for your kids to fix and you can make them ahead of time. Pop them in the freezer
and place them in a lunch box the next day. By the time you’re ready it is defrosted.
They are never fixed the same way, as most of the time I use what I have. However, there are a few
favorites. I do not add ice or milk. Instead, using the frozen fruit gives the smoothie a nice thick consistency
and this way it is dairy free. IF on rare occasion I use milk, I use Almond milk.
This is one:
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup strawberry banana juice
Place all items into the blender or Vita-mix depending on what you have and blend until smooth. Super easy
