Panini Recipes – From Our Plate to Yours

According to Wikipedia,  Panini Recipes have been adopted from Italy, where they eat Paninos.   Panino  is the word for a sandwich made from bread other than sliced bread.  Examples of bread types used are ciabatta, rosetta and baguette. The bread is cut horizontally and filled with deli ingredients such as salami, ham, cheese, mortadella, or other food, and sometimes served warm after having been pressed by a warming grill.

I don’t know about you, but I love Panini sandwiches.  There are so many varieties!  There is even a Blog written about Panini sandwiches – yes, only Panini’s!

Panini Recipes

I am not really sure what I enjoy about Panini’s the most.  Could it be the fact that you can put almost anything between two slices of bread, toast it in a pan and call it a Panini?  Could it be the ease of making a Panini?   For me, it think it is the wonderful cheese melting and oozing out of the sandwich when you bit into it!

Here are some favorites from all of us at Daily Dish!

I am a 50 Something stay at home Mom, whos baby flown the nest and gone off to college. I have always loved cooking and have made it a priority to feed my family good food while sitting at the dinner table. For many years crockpot cooking and Tried and True recipes were par for the course. Now that I have more time, I am breaking out of that mould and being more creative in the kitchen. I also love all fiber arts and when I am not in the kitchen, you can find me in my studio.
